Karibon facewear include an inner and outer layer of pure silk, unwoven dust filter and a layer of activated carbon cloth.

The activated carbon cloth (ACC) can capture large organic chemicals found in traffic fumes. The ACC can capture up to its own weight in certain organic chemicals under the right conditions

The silk lining has an ultra-fine weave that can block a wide range of dust particles.

The dust filter is a blend of unwoven cotton and nylon that can trap and hold dust particles. Independent testing found the masks were capable of removing ultra-fine particles after 25 washes – equivalent to 6 months of use.
